What is at the heart of my ministry?       What moments or experiences define my priesthood?
About Father Healey: A native of Attleboro, Father Healey graduated from Bishop Feehan High School in that city and became its first graduate to enter the diocesan priesthood. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Westfield State College and a master’s degree and certificate of advanced graduate study in rehabilitation counseling from Assumption College in Worcester. He worked in the mental health field before entering St. John’s Seminary in Brighton to study for the priesthood. After ordination, he served as parochial vicar at St. Pius X Parish, South Yarmouth; as chaplain at Cape Cod Hospital; and as director of diocesan Pastoral Ministry to the Sick while continuing his ministry as hospital chaplain. While on Cape Cod, he was instrumental in establishing ministry to the Spanish-speaking in that region of the diocese. In 1999, he became Rector of St. Mary’s Cathedral in Fall River and secretary of Community Services in the diocese. He assumed his present assignment as pastor of Holy Trinity Parish in West Harwich in 2005.
