About Father Murray: A Brockton native, Father Murray is a graduate of Coyle and Cassidy High School in Taunton. He completed his undergraduate and theological studies at St. John Seminary in Brighton. After ordination, he was named parochial vicar at St. Patrick’s Parish in Wareham and from there was appointed to the same post at St. Patrick’s in Fall River and as chaplain at Bishop Connolly High School in that city. His next three assignments were all in the Cape Cod region of the diocese, where he served as parochial vicar at Corpus Christi Parish, East Sandwich; chaplain at Cape Cod Hospital; and parochial vicar at St. Pius X Parish, South Yarmouth. In 2009, he was appointed to his present assignment as pastor of Holy Ghost Parish and St. Joseph Parish, both in Attleboro.
